چکیده

Background: The wound dressings perform a crucial role in cutaneous wounds management due to their ability protect and promote dermal epidermal tissue regeneration. Aim: the aim was evaluate effectiveness of using hydrogel/nano silver-based dressing vs. traditional on diabetic foot healing. Methods: Sixty patients with type-2 diabetes hospitalized for treatment were recruited from selected Surgical departments. A prospective randomized control study carried, results showed that percentage reduction rate ulcer by third week as group higher (15.11%) than (33.44%). Moreover, mean ulcers size "sq mm" recognized faster healing (15.11 ± 7.89), considerably lesser comparison (21.65 8.4). Conclusion: hydrogel/nanosilver-based better managing foot. Gelam (Melaleuca spp.) Honey-Based Hydrogel as Burn Wound Dressing

A novel cross-linked honey hydrogel dressing was developed by incorporating Malaysian honey into hydrogel dressing formulation, cross-linked and sterilized using electron beam irradiation (25 kGy). In this study, the physical properties of the prepared honey hydrogel and its wound healing efficacy on deep partial thickness burn wounds in rats were assessed. Skin samples were taken at 7, 14, 21,...
